really amazing! he&#39;s a playboy secret agent, with a drink problem and quite a few personal issues, a rather strange relationship with his mum, and generally seems like a bit of a jerk as well! really he&#39;s the type of guy that you should hate like the bad guy in a movie, but instead of everyone realising this he always seems to land on his feet! the show is also really smart in some of the dialogue is unbelievably good! its also pretty to look at which makes a change from a lot of cartoon comedies. watched the first season and cannot wait for the 3rd. i desperately want this show to keep going at the standard! <br/><br/>the secret agent that makes James Bond like a Gay, sober, schoolboy!
Archer was far better than I expected. It was like Family Guy with harsher comments, and a coherent story. <br/><br/>This show is centred around the Isis (an international spy agency) agents and they&#39;re ridiculous lives. It&#39;s not so much that they are just a little odd, they are all so far-fetched, it really shouldn&#39;t work yet for some reason, I kept tuning in. Every character has an interesting story to tell or take on things, most should be locked up by now, and the action sequences really do sell the point of mockery.<br/><br/>I have always felt that animation holds more scope for obscurity and absurdness. Archer manipulates this very well. When I think about the show, I can just hear H. Jon Benjamin yelling &#39;Lana&#39; over and over. Shows that have a catch-phrase seem to sit better with me.<br/><br/>If you love being shocked by language and mainly by an intelligent use of language, to offend (not just cuss words) then you will most probably put this on a loop and love it. It&#39;s pretty f****** good.

The universe of Archer uses fashion and hairstyles from the early 1960s with a mix of 1980s architecture. Present-day technology such as smartphones and the internet as well as current social values such as the general acceptance of LGBT people and women in positions of power can also be seen in Archer. Countries that no longer exists today such as the Soviet Union still clearly exists in the Archer universe. &quot;The Cold War never ended&quot; is the most accepted theory put forward by the show&#39;s creator which mean&#39;s that Archer is set in the present day but in an alternate timeline from our own.<br/><br/>
